2. Description of Service
TrailBill provides a platform for:
- Creating invoices
- Tracking payments
- Managing payment commitments
- Sharing invoice links with clients
We do not process payments directly unless explicitly stated.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Use the platform lawfully
- Not misuse or abuse the system
- Be responsible for your clients and invoices
4. Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login details secure
- All activity under your account
5. Subscription & Payments
- TrailBill operates on a monthly subscription basis
- Fees are billed as agreed (e.g., R299/month)
- Access may be limited or suspended if payment is not made
6. Data & Content
You own the data you upload.
You grant TrailBill permission to:
- Store and process your data to provide the service
7. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but:
- Do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- May perform maintenance or updates
8. Limitation of Liability
TrailBill is not responsible for:
- Late payments by your clients
- Financial losses
- Business decisions made using the platform
Use the system at your own risk.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts if:
- Terms are violated
- Payments are not made
- Abuse or misuse is detected
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Important: This is a startup-level version. When you grow, get a local South African lawyer to review it (especially for POPIA compliance).
